WHAT IS DIMINISHED VALUE? |

When a vehicle is damaged in a collision, there may also be a loss of market value even after the vehicle is properly repaired. This diminished value amount can be recovered from either the responsible party or their insurance company, if a proper professional appraisal is accomplished.
Our service has researched and prepared hundreds of reports for our customers including owners, attorneys and insurance companies. We have developed a network of local, regional, and national experts to survey and verify our findings. These experts buy and sell vehicles from dealers, auctions and individuals on a daily basis and are considered the most current authority on a loss of value available.
Sufficient contacts are made on each report to provide from 100 to 200 years of experience in determining a vehicle loss of value. Also, we research current auction results and “book values” to aid in our determinations. Survey results are averaged to eliminate any personal biases.
Court and arbitrators have agreed that our methods provide the most fair and accurate evaluations of these types of losses. |
